In 2008 Learn and Earn Online (LEO) was awarded the Innovations in American Government Award from the Harvard Kennedy School. Learn about this unique collaboration among K-12 education, the University of North Carolina, and the NC Community College System. LEO promotes access and exposure to college by allowing students to take college courses online from every public high school in NC. LEO allows students to graduate from high school with anassociate's degree or other levels of college credit.
